Hi, I’m Myke Hurley

I am the co-founder of Relay, an independent podcast network reaching hundreds of thousands of listeners through technology and creativity-focused shows. I host several successful podcasts including Connected, Cortex, and Upgrade. You can find all my podcasts (past and present) on the Relay website. I started podcasting in 2010, and I am so grateful that it’s how I make a living.

Expanding beyond podcasting, I co-founded Cortex Brand, a company dedicated to thoughtfully designed productivity tools. Our company's flagship products, include the Sidekick Notepad and The Theme System Journal. As a keen lover of high quality tools, I am thrilled to serve as Creative Director. I am a passionate advocate for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and have helped raise millions of dollars for paediatric cancer research and treatment, along with my colleagues at Relay.

I live in London, England with my wife Adina, and our daughter Sophia.

About The Enthusiast

The Enthusiast is an independent publication I launched in June 2025. I chose the name as I feel it’s core to how I have built my career online — I am an enthusiast in many things, and I share my opinions enthusiastically. My first post talks a little bit more about this, if you’d like more detail.
