Podcasts! You Want ‘em, I Got ‘em!
Published a couple of podcasts today that I wanted to share with you all.
First up, if you haven’t been listening to this series of Designed in California, you’ve been missing out. We’re following the story of Apple’s Mac OS disaster in the ’90s, which requires them to buy another company to help overhaul their operating system. In the episode we posted today, Steve Jobs and NeXT enter the picture. The drama is ratcheting up now as we approach the thrilling conclusion in a couple of weeks’ time.
You can listen to the show wherever you get your podcasts — of course — but I also wanted to share the YouTube link for this one, as people have really been enjoying the video version so far.
Also today, I posted the next instalment of my State of the Workflow series on Cortex. This time, I welcome Lucy James to the show:
Myke talks to Lucy James about going independent after 12 years at GameSpot, building a newsletter that recommends the best indie games, and announcing it days later on stage at Summer Game Fest in front of millions of viewers.
I have been a fan of Lucy’s work for years, and am a very happy subscriber to Looking for Game. I hope you enjoy this episode.
Firing on all cylinders right now as we head towards the Podcastathon next Friday. Don’t forget to tune in with us for 12 hours, starting at 12 PM US Eastern time.
